“PER ONMIA SECULA SECULOREM”

Latin for ‘forever and ever, “Per Omnia Secula Seculorem” is a small devotional installation that focuses collective prayer for all that needs healing.
In the center is a small glass globe,1” diameter, of our Mother Earth. This sits in the middle of a small figurative oil painting-on-canvas-on wood of a quahog shell. Around this is a circle of sea tumbled wampum gathered from Narragansett childhood beaches.These objects rest in the middle of an oil painting tondo, an ocean/ multiverse circle of an eternal blue light healing.
All these objects will rest on a small pure white square pedestal, thus creating a circle within a square, an ancient universal spiritual symbol from multiple cultures and belief systems. The pedestal will be placed in a location that offers viewer/participants the opportunity to circumnabulate the installation in personal prayer.
